WICHITA, Kan. — After months of anticipation, people who reserved one of the 13,000 tickets for the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway this year, found out Wednesday evening who got the keys to the Dream Home. We are reinventing how we build custom homes by marrying the high design and quality of a Nies Home with the unmatched customer service our clients have come to expect, all within a simplified process at reasonable costs. There will only be 6,500 $100 tickets available, starting in Mid-March. Visitors will get their chance to see the custom Nies Homes’ 2016 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house at open houses every Saturday and Sunday, beginning April 16, 2016. The lucky winning ticket will be drawn May 25, 2016 and announced on KSN-TV.
The first St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house was constructed in Shreveport and raised $160,000 for the kids of St. Jude. We are so lucky to have a team of contractors, suppliers, and sponsors joining us to continually raise incredible amounts of additional funds to offset any unavoidable costs. Because of their generous efforts, we can say together that every dollar raised goes towards the fight to cure cancer. Mitch Caddel with BKD was on hand to confirm that all tickets were counted and verified for the giveaway. Caddel placed tickets into the hopper based on the date of purchase and eligibility for each prize. The winner of each early-bird prize was added back to the hopper for the subsequent drawings. Cindy Schwan of Wichita won the $2,500 gift card at Ultra Modern Pool & Patio.

Wichita’s St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house features more than 1,950 finished main-level square-feet and features five bedrooms and a three-car garage. The home will be located in Lookout Pointe in Derby’s The Oaks, a serene golfing neighborhood.
